In addition to offering a 20% tuition fee reduction for all self-funded students, outstanding students who are recommended by the school will also receive additional points in the scholarship review.

"We don't promise how many (scholarship) quotas there will be. If the school recommends good students, we will give them the opportunity," she said.

She pointed out that Shanghai University currently has more than 40,000 students, including 3,144 international students from over 160 countries. There are 13 Malaysian students, mainly studying at the School of Journalism and Communication, the School of Film, the School of Economics and Management, and the Academy of Fine Arts.

"Shanghai University has more than 200 programs open to international students, of which 72 are taught entirely in English."

On the other hand, Bock Chek Lim, President of LEAM, said that by facilitating the signing of the agreement between eight Malaysian Chinese Independent Schools and Shanghai University to establish a high-quality student source base, students will receive a 20% tuition fee reduction each year during their studies, which is not only good news for students but also in line with the academy's commitment to fighting for the best interests of students.
